The Ardour Global Index (Composite) has been chosen as it is anticipated this index will broadly reflect the movement of Global cleantech stocks.  It has the following features:

1. this index includes companies listed  on global exchanges in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific;
2. this index comprises five main business segments: Alternative Energy Resources, Distributed Generation, Energy Efficiency, Enabling Technologies and Environmental Technologies; and
3. this index only holds securities with 100 million in market capitalization or higher.

The MSCI World Index has been chosen for the following reasons:

1. this index represents good geographical diversifications with representation from 23 countries as of January 2007; and
2. this index is commonly used as a benchmark, Global equities, by many Canadian and International pension and investment funds.
