G. Mark Curry, MBA, Chairman
Mark is Chairman of Revmar Inc., an investment consulting firm located in Toronto. Mark has 40 years of investment business experience in New York and Toronto. He has made significant investments in public and private companies and has developed the insight and patience that result in superior returns. He is a disciplined global investor and has excelled in finding undervalued opportunities with significant upside. Mark’s current board service includes EGI Financial Holdings, the Toronto Port Authority, as well as several private investment holding companies. He is a past director of Vitran Corporation, WGI Heavy Minerals, and Bowflex Inc. (now Nautilus Inc.). Mark has also been a recent founder of three Capital Pool Companies. Mark holds a BA Economics degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.. |
Richard D. McGraw, President and CEO
Rick is a successful entrepreneur and an active investor. He has been founding, operating and developing businesses both private and public in a variety of industries for more than 40 years. Rick is currently the President and CEO of Greenrock Asset Management, a private merchant bank and investment firm. He is Chairman of Vitran Corporation, a company which he co-founded and operated for over 20 years. Vitran now generates over US$700 million in revenue with facilities across North America. Rick is a current director of C2C Industrial Properties Inc., a past Chairman of Zenn Motor Company, and a past Director of Catch the Wind, all companies which he helped take public. Rick is also a past Director and Chairman of Exco Technologies Ltd. Rick is involved with a number of other private and public company boards, including a strong commitment to several non-profit organizations. Rick has extensive capital markets and corporate governance experience. He has successfully created 4 CPC’s and played an instrumental role in their subsequent Qualifying Transactions. He has been involved in public market fund raising in excess of $250 million. |
Christopher Seed, Vice President and CCO
Chris has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Greenrock he was working as Vice President of Sales for an independent boutique brokerage firm in Toronto. He began his career at the largest Canadian bank-owned investment dealer. Chris has extensive experience serving high net worth and institutional clients. He has held various roles throughout his career including sales, trading, and corporate finance. Chris will be focused on Greenrock's merchant banking activities, primarily sourcing potential investments and subsequent capital raising. His considerable transaction experience is an important resource for Greenrock and the companies with which we invest. Chris holds a BA from Dalhousie University, the Canadian Investment Manager designation, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. |
Devin Crago, MBA, CFA, Vice President
Devin focuses on the firm’s research, deal sourcing and investment due diligence activities. Prior to joining Greenrock, Devin worked in New York in the equity research department of a major global investment bank where he was responsible for all aspects of investment research, financial modeling and client communications. Devin has 10 years of investment industry experience in both New York and Toronto and has conducted investment research on a range of sectors including cleantech, business services and natural resources. Devin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a CFA charterholder. |

Paul F. Little, MBA, CA, Advisory Board Member
Mr. Paul F. Little BA Ec., CA, MBA has been the President of Westover Investments Inc. since 1999. From 1986 to 1999, Paul was a founder and Principal of Toronto-based merchant bank, Gornitzki Thompson & Little and President of GTL Securities Inc., an affiliated securities dealer. From 1980 to 1985, Paul held positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Union Gas Ltd. and Union Enterprises Inc. Prior to this, he was employed at Clarkson Gordon, a predecessor firm of Ernst & Young, Toronto office; the Treasurer of the Province of Ontario and John Labatt Limited. Paul currently serves as a director of Goldstone Resources Inc., Arius3D Corp., Echelon General Insurance Company and EGI Financial Holdings Inc., where he is Chairman. Some of Paul's other past directorships include Denison Mines Inc., Nautilus Inc., Calfrac Well Services Ltd., Pure Energy Services Ltd., Medisystem Technologies Inc., and Pason Systems Inc. Paul has been an advisor and seed investor in numerous private and public companies, and has been a founder of 3 CPC's in partnership with Greenrock's principals. Paul is a Chartered Accountant (Ontario, 1970) from ICAO. He holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia in 1968 and a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto. Paul brings a wealth of experience to Greenrock's Investment Committee and provides important ongoing guidance to our various projects. |
Peter Hofstra, PhD, CFA, Adisory Board Member
Peter has more than 20 years of investing, technology and business experience, including a term as a research chemist with Xerox Research, and eight years with a public Canadian tech firm he joined in the early stage and served as vice president of research and development. Prior to joining Greenrock, Peter was six years with one of Canada’s largest money managers where he served as portfolio manager of a science and technology fund. He has been active in the Cleantech sector since 2006. Peter has a B.Sc. in Chemistry, a Ph.D. in engineering physics and holds his CFA designation. He brings a unique combination of technology training, business experience and investment discipline to the Greenrock team. As of July 2010 Peter is now the Director of Investment Management and Research for Manitou Investment Management and remains a special advisor to Greenrock. |
